You should also practice taking shots at different times of the day.  As a San Diego photographer we get plenty of sunshine. But even then you have to know how to use the sunshine for your photos.  By taking different photos of different times of day you will learn what works and what doesn’t.And as you learn you will know what shots are the best at different times of the day.

Another way to practice yoyr photography skills is by going to big events.Events like county fairs.  Or events like a sports game.  Even a child’s soccer game is a great event to take pictures.  Doing San Diego event photography has allowed to realize how different the kind of photos you take at big events are.  By practicing at various events you can get good at taking action shots.
